      Tucson International Mariachi Festival

      The Mariachi Festival is an international event and will be held at DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center, Reid Park from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. The Fiesta de Garibaldi is a reenactment of the sights and sounds of Garibaldi Plaza in Mexico City, a place known for spontaneous mariachi performances and gatherings. This day-long party features fabulous music. The mariachi and baile folklórico acts come from all over the Southwest. There is delicious Mexican food as well as arts and crafts vendors offering many delightful trinkets to purchase. Bring your family and spend the day under a shady tree listening to great music and being a part of this great community of mariachi aficionados. We can get together with the Spanish Speaking Meetup Group. This is particular event is an "all day" event in Reid Park, running from 10 AM-10 PM with music, food, art, etc. You can come and stay for as long or as short as you'd like. More details will be posted as the event draws closer. Entrance fee $5 per person, children 12 and under free. each member is responsible for paying this on their own. All proceeds benefit ChildrenÂÂ's Services at La Frontera Center Inc., a behavioral health agency.
